Life post college
Life is pretty good post undergrad. I am volunteering at my local library and getting excellent advise from the people that work there. The job search continues. I was hoping to find something in the library field but those sort of jobs are pretty thin on the ground if you don't have a masters. But there are other sorts of jobs out there and I have to be realistic, I need to get the bills paid and at some point would like to have a house of my own, so a job that helps me do that is really what I'm looking for right now! In the meantime, I do have a part-time job and I keep sending my resume out there into the world!

Well, it's the final two weeks of the semester. I don't know how I feel about it, it was strange not having to register for classes in the spring. I am really excited to look to the future though, I have been job hunting and surprisingly there are lots of jobs open in libraries. So hopefully by January or February I will find a job in that field. This had been a crazy semester and now that I approach the end I don't know what to say or how to feel. I have been in school nonstop since I was five so it will be strange not to have to get up and go to class or have assignments due or have my life divided up into semesters! I hope to blog more now that I don't have school work to worry about, and I can't wait to rest up so I can prepare for Grad school!!

This is my final semester!!
This is my final semester at Kennesaw State University and I am both sad and excited. I'm one of those nerdy English majors that loves to go to class and read and discuss material. So in a way I'm excited to be moving on to the next stage of my life but I'm also going to miss going to class, meeting new professors and learning new material.
I hope that my love of learning will help me to find a job in a library or museum. I love old books and artifacts and would love to be surrounded by one or both all day, every day!
In my spare time I love to play with my dog Zoe, she's like my child, visit with my friends, read and spend time with my family. I hope to keep this blog throughout my final semester of college and beyond!
